How to reserve a bus
- Please enter your trip information form on the web site, or send the information via e-mail or facsimile. Please include: your name, contact numbers, number of people, pieces of luggage, arrival and departure time, location, tour destinations, hotels, and other special arrangements that you may need during your trip
- SBT will reply with a quote after 4 working hours upon receipt of your itinerary
- Please e-mail or fax to SBT if you wish to confirm your reservation.Only Written Communications will be honored.
- After receipt of your confirmation, SBT will e-mail or fax you, after 4 working hours, your confirmation code along with other pertinent information for your file.
- All inquiries must be submitted before 1pm, Monday to Friday, for same day replies
Payment Schedule
- Please note the following payment schedule to ensure your reservation of vehicle for your party. If payment has not been tendered or payment schedule was not agreed upon by SBT and your company, the reservation will be cancelled upon the day of the first payment schedule listed below. If any of the schedule payment was missed and your company did not contact SBT to further confirm payment by another mean, cancellation fee will be accessed and the balance of pre-payment will be calculated for refund.
- Upon confirmation of reservation, 50% of total payment shall be tendered.
- Seven days prior to trip date, 50% of the total payment shall be tendered.
Cancellation Policy
- 10% of total payment will be charged for canceling 14 days before trip.
- 15% of total payment will be charged for canceling 10 days before trip.
- 25% of total payment will be charged for canceling 5 days before trip.
- 30% of total payment will be charged for canceling 4 days before trip.
- 35% of the total payment will be charged for canceling 2 days before trip.
- 40% of total payment will be charged for canceling 1 day before trip.
- 50% of total payment will be charged for canceling upon the day of the trip.
- No show on departure date will be charged 80% of the total cost of the charter. We reserve the right to cancel the Chareter Agreement if the required depoist / payment terms are not met by the due date.
Payment Method
- SBT has on-line payment service where you can pay for your reservation in full or in part by credit card. 3% service charge will be accessed beginning January 1, 2009
- You can also choose to pay in American Express Traveler's Check
- You can also choose to pay in personal check
- You can also choose to remit payment to SBT via our banking facility
US Transportation Regulation/Log Book
- In order to guarantee your safety, SBT drivers must adhere to Federal Transportation Guidelines at all times
- Our drivers must fill in the Log Book daily. We strongly object to our drivers working over the time stated on the itinerary or speeding
- Our drivers must have no less than 8 consecutive hours of rest to ensure optimal energy level when driving.
- Our drivers must not work more than 10 hours per day. Federal Regulation prohibits drivers from working more than 70 hours in an 8 day trip itinerary. Please see the Federal web site www.fmcsa.dot.gov
- Our drivers can refuse to: speeding, working over-time, illegal stops requested by tour leaders or members, and other unreasonable requests.
- Our drivers must have permission from SBT when unusual situations arises that would require longer working time. All over-time fees and mileage charges must be paid to the driver prior to the over-time requested.
GPS
To ensure our riders safety and comfort, SBT has installed the latest version of GPS system in all our vehicles. This allows monitoring of all our buses 24 hours a day. Records of trips are kept up to 45 days

Changing Vehicles
SBT reserves the right to change vehicles or to assign vehicles from another company before and during a confirmed trip without prior notification. This will not reflect the total trip amount agreed upon
Free Days
If your itinerary states that you have a "free day" in a designated city, but on that "free day", you request to use the bus, SBT can not guarantee the vehicle would be available for your usage. This also will not reflect on the total trip amount agreed upon

About Luggage
SBT encourages our customers to hand carry all their valuables. All larger pieces of luggage will be kept in the luggage compartment of the bus. All luggages must not be kept on board overnight. Customers must check their own carry-ons at every drop off point. Our driver will bring in to the office any left items. Customers just pick the left items up at the SBT Office as soon as possible. SBT is not responsible for the lost of yours valuables.
All our vehicles have factory installed designated luggage compartment. SBT guarantees luggage space for 1 normal sized piece of luggage to each customer. If pieces of luggage are over-sized, luggage security may be compromised. Federal Regulation dictates, commercial carriers are not allowed to be over-weight in the passenger cabin therefore only small regulated size carry-on bags and the proper amount of passengers are allowable. In order to ensure safety for our customers and their belongings, please notify your group of this regulation.
(Regulated size for carry-on baggage on commercial ground transports is smaller than ones allowed for air travel.)
Rules On-Board
Customers must adhere to rules on-board: no smoking, no eating or drinking, no littering, no standing while vehicle is in motion, no moving around the bus, no talking to the driver, no opening of the emergency window/exit, no pulling or activating any emergency equipment, no turning or touching any dashboard buttons or instruments
Itinerary
- A complete itinerary shall be transmitted to SBT: arrival and departure times, hotel location, and other pertinent information. If there should be any changes, you must communicate with SBT in writing to document changes agreed by both parties. Tour leaders/guides must synchronize their time table with the driver to ensure smooth travel time. If there should be any last minute changes, prompt communication with the office will allow fast and efficient quotes on extra mileage
- Without prior agreement with SBT, drivers are not allowed to alter the itinerary even at the customer's request. Federal Regulations does not allow vehicles that are not licensed to enter into certain tourist destinations without prior reservation or licensure
Tour Guide
- Your Tour Guide will board our vehicle at the SBT office in the City of San Gabriel, California 91776
- If your tour starts at Las Vegas, you are to arrange for your guide to meet at the LV airport. The vehicle charge for that day will be at the LV pricing
- If your tour ends in Las Vegas, and the SBT vehicle does not return to Los Angeles, that day will be at the LV pricing. You will have to arrange for your guide's return to LA
Charter Service
On Chartered transfers, SBT can not pick-up or drop-off individuals at locations other than designated ones. Extra charges will apply if requested
Written Changes
All charter services and trip itineraries can only be changed by prior written notices and agreed upon by SBT. All parties concerned must sign off on the same piece of communication to validate any changes prior to the date of service. SBT will not hold reservations left on phone messages
